I love jam.  It's sticky, but it's sweet.  And it comes on bread.  I also love to jam, and while there's less bread involved, it's still pretty filling.  I've been jamming away the Spring and then, what-do-you-know, it's June and I've barely taken time to say hi there.  So hi there.  How are you?  What are your June plans?  Would you like to work some jamming into them?  Tomorrow (Thursday June 4) at 8:15pm, I'll be hanging around again with the wonderful Matty Sheets at WUAG 103.1 FM (listen online here!) to promote what's happening on Friday June 5th from 8-10pm -- a sweet little solo gig at The Tasting Room, where I spent last Friday night listening to the lovely local singer-songwriter Abigail Dowd (check her out!). Having sampled the wine and atmosphere myself, I can say with full confidence that there's hardly a better way to wind down the hectic week.  And if you can't make it out Friday but are dying for some local micro-brews, come out Saturday June 6th to Pig Pounder for their One-Year Anniversary Celebration!  Southern Moon will be jamming out from 2:30 to 4:30, followed by some other excellent musicians and accompanied by the ever-flowing beer.  You also won't want to miss next *Friday June 12th, 8pm, at Common Grounds, where I'll be opening for the beautiful folk duo Seeds of Saints, whose harmonies are as rich as the delicious beverages the sweet little coffee shop/bar has to offer.  Now if only I could get some bread....

*6/8/15 UPDATE: Unfortunately the June 12th show at Common Grounds has been postponed due to double-booking... Please stay tuned!  I still can't wait to play with Seeds of Saints!
